HighLevel Pricing Decoder
HighLevel pricing, in plain words

Which HighLevel plan do you actually need?

Three plans. One question decides it: are you running your own business, running clients, or selling the software under your brand? Then the small charges: texts, emails, calls, and AI. All from HighLevel's own price pages.

    How the AI charges work

AI is a separate bill from texts and emails. Three ways to pay for it, and a table of every AI product.

Usage charges vs. AI charges: two different bills

People mix these up and then blame the wrong thing. They're separate, they're billed differently, and only one of them has a plan you can buy.

    Usage charges

    Texts, calls, emails, numbers

Pay-as-you-go. Always. On every plan. There is no "unlimited texting" plan. The section above is this bill.

How you make money on the $297 and $497

Sell sub-accounts. Pass usage through at cost on $297. Mark it up on $497.

First, the word that decides it: rebilling

Phone, email and AI are pay-as-you-go on every plan. The plan decides who ends up paying for them.

    $97 Starter

    You eat the usage

Every text, call and email your clients send comes out of your wallet. Fine if it's your own business. Painful with five clients.

    You pay 100%
    $297 Unlimited

    You pass it through

HighLevel charges your wallet, then the client's card is charged the same amount. You're not out of pocket, but you don't profit on usage.

    $497 SaaS Pro

    You mark it up

Same as Unlimited, but you set the price. Pay HighLevel a cent per email, charge the client two. Same for the add-ons you resell: listings, SEO, WhatsApp, AI. That margin is a business.

Client pays cost × your markup

Make money selling HighLevel sub-accounts, or white-label it and sell it as your own.

An AI agency. A course agency. A marketing agency. Any agency. This is the step: every client gets their own account inside your HighLevel, you charge them monthly for it, and on the $497 plan you set your own price on every text, email, call, AI reply and add-on they use. Drag the sliders. See what it looks like at 3 clients, 10, 25.

Each client gets their own sub-account. Unlimited on both plans.
What you charge each client per month$297
Most agencies charge $97 to $297 for the software seat alone. Your services are on top.
Each client's usage per month (texts, emails, calls, AI)$80
What HighLevel charges for that client's texts, emails, calls and AI. $80 is a business that texts, calls and uses AI.
Your markup on usage ($497 plan only)1.5×
1.5× means an $80 usage bill is charged to the client as $120. You keep $40 per client, every month. Set it to whatever you like.

    $497 beats $297 by$0 /mo

    Quick reads

If you soldAt$297 keeps$497 keeps (1.5× markup, $80 usage each)
    5 accounts$297/mo each$1,188$1,188
    10 accounts$297/mo each$2,673$2,873
    25 accounts$297/mo each$7,128$7,428
    50 accounts$297/mo each$14,553$15,053
    25 accounts at 2× markup$297/mo each$7,128$8,628

At 1.5× markup and $80 usage, the two plans tie at 5 accounts. From 6 up, $497 pulls ahead and the gap grows with every account you add. Push the markup to 2× and 25 accounts is $1,500 a month more than $297. On $497 you also set your own price on every add-on you resell, which isn't in this table and only helps the $497 side.
